LEGACY in Motion

Tito Jackson left behind a powerful legacy not only in music, but in purpose-driven projects rooted in community, creativity, and connection. In his final years, Tito planted the seeds of something greater: initiatives that would outlive him and continue to uplift others. These dreams are not ending with his passing; they are just beginning to rise. With the help of his family, friends, and collaborators, Tito’s heartfelt visions will come to life - ensuring that the work he started continues to inspire, unite, and bring joy for generations to come.

A Star Finds a Home in Claremore

In the summer of 2023, Tito found his perfect retreat in Claremore, Oklahoma. More than a place to live, Claremore became his home: a town where he felt seen, grounded, and connected. He quickly immersed himself in the community, making deep and lasting bonds.

On May 25, 2024, an EF3 tornado devastated Claremore. Tito responded immediately, working alongside Mayor Debbie Long and local leaders to support the town’s recovery. His efforts led to a successful fundraiser that provided essential aid for first responders and rebuilding efforts: just one of many examples of his compassion in action.

Juneteenth Celebration

On June 15, 2024, Tito joined Claremore’s Juneteenth celebration, sharing his time and stories with residents at the Claremore Museum of History. His warmth and authenticity left a lasting impact on everyone he met that day.

That same spirit of togetherness took shape in a joyful event on September 5, 2024, when Tito hosted a social mixer at his ranch to announce the Tunes & Spoons Music Festival and Chili Cook-Off, envisioned for August 2025. Developed in collaboration with Brad White and Rob Miller, founders of Rocklahoma, and supported by local leadership, the event was designed as a lively celebration of music, food, and unity.

On March 18, 2025, Tito’s dream for the festival officially took flight. During a press conference at Claremore City Hall, Mayor Debbie Long, TJ Jackson (Tito’s youngest son and member of 3T), Howard Pollack, Terry Harvey Maltbia, and Brad White came together to announce the Tunes & Spoons Chili Fest, a vibrant, multi-day event rooted in community spirit and joyful entertainment.

Get ready for a weekend of flavor, fun, and fantastic entertainment at the Tunes & Spoons Chili Cook-Off Music Festival! This one-of-a-kind gathering blends the energy of live music, the comfort of great food, and the heart of community connection, all while supporting an inspiring cause: Music Giving Hope.

Music Giving  Hope

Co-founded by Tito Jackson, Music Giving Hope is a charitable initiative dedicated to empowering individuals and communities through the transformative power of music. Its mission is to provide access to music education, foster creativity, and create platforms that inspire resilience, hope, and healing. By promoting collaboration and engagement, the organization ensures that music continues to serve as a force for opportunity and positive change.

A portion of the festival's proceeds will benefit Music Giving Hope, enabling outreach programs and educational initiatives that honor Tito’s vision of a better world through music. Whether you're a chili enthusiast, a music lover, or just looking for good vibes, the Tunes & Spoons Chili Fest at the Claremore Expo Center promises a weekend of unforgettable fun and purpose.

Hooks, Lines & Singers

Tito also had dreams for the screen. He was developing a TV series titled "Hooks, Lines & Singers," inviting celebrity and athlete friends to spend a day fishing, sharing stories, and making music at his ranch. It was a relaxed, joyful concept that mirrored his warmth and love of connection.

In December 2024, he was scheduled to serve as Grand Marshal of Claremore’s annual Christmas Parade. Following his untimely passing, the event became a heartfelt tribute, featuring dazzling floats, marching bands, and a deep sense of remembrance, led by his partners at Living The Dream.

Tito's Spot

Tito’s creative and community efforts extended beyond Claremore. In the heart of Tulsa’s Arts District, plans for Tito’s Spot are underway: a live entertainment venue paired with a Jackson family museum. Announced shortly before his death, the space will feature a 2,000-seat performance area and showcase decades of musical heritage. Opening in 2026, Tito’s Spot will be a space where his spirit of music, legacy, and togetherness lives on.

Through each of these projects, Tito’s heart and spirit continue to shine and guide. His kindness, creativity, and unwavering belief in the power of unity remain woven into everything he created. With the love and support of those he inspired, his dreams are not just remembered: they are carried forward by those he touched.

"My father was so proud to be an Okie. He had so many plans in his new home state that we look forward to continuing the ground work he laid.

We will do our absolutely best to ensure his dreams all come true.
We love you Poppa T."
